Ungodly

Where do we go,
When all is left, the few who manage?
Levee their nights in your hands,
And douse wimble hopes of the rest.
Hold with you a sack full of memories
and waltz the dawn’s hour,
above towering plateaus,
Cascading waterfalls,

There.
Look into these eyes and tell me what you see.
Bones that snap like icicles…
